Mik le Chef (sole proprietorship, KvK 34330274, registered office Waterbaan 322, 1051 PL Amsterdam,mik@miklechef.eu) is responsible for the processing of personal data through this website. The cook’s studio is at Oude Haagseweg 75, 1066 DC Amsterdam.

Contact form

When you send the quote form, or sign up for a dinner or open date, we process name, email address, telephone number, type of request, optional date, group size and your message. Purpose: to answer the request or signup and make a proposal or confirmation. Legal basis: steps at your request before a contract, and legitimate interest in carrying on the correspondence.

The details go by email to mik@miklechef.eu (through our mail provider) and are not stored in a database on this website. We keep email for as long as the correspondence runs, then for up to two years unless bookkeeping rules require longer.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to notes when the cantina is open, we process your email address and the language of signup. Purpose: to tell you about Jazz Bites, dinners and other open dates. Legal basis: consent. You can leave the list via the link in each mail, or via mik@miklechef.eu.

The list is kept with Resend (processor, United States, with appropriate safeguards). We do not use the address for other mailings. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Spam filter

The form uses a honeypot to block automated submissions.

Cookies and measuring

The site sets no tracking cookies. Visitor counts go through Umami (stats.pragm.eu): page views without an advertising profile. A session cookie is set only if you log in to the private diary admin.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion via mik@miklechef.eu. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
